1. Complete the registration form below.
2. Sign in with your newly created username and password.
3. Once signed in, click on Search For Mentor to see the list of Mentors.
4. Once you have found a Mentor who you think will be a good fit for you, click on Send Request.
5. Mentor will receive an automated email with a link to your profile.
   • Except for Last Name, Phone, Email, Username and Password, all of the information you provide will be available on the website for a Mentor to see. Be as detailed as possible in your responses to insure the best match.
6. Mentors have the option to Accept or Reject the request.
   • Once your new Mentor accepts the request, you will both be notified via email and will receive a link to the website which will be used to record your communication.
   • If you don't receive a response after 3 days, email us at mymentor@softsmithinc.com, and we will contact the Mentor. If 7 days go by without a response, cancel your request and look for another Mentor.
   • Note that you can send a request to 1 Mentor at a time.
   • If a Mentor rejects the request, you will be notified with an automated email and you will be able to search for another Mentor. If this happens, do not be discouraged! Mentors reject a request for two reasons: 1. They are too busy at the moment or 2. They don't think they are a good fit for you.
7. Once the pairing is complete, you will be responsible for initiating the first contact and mentoring will begin!
